Associate – Deposit Operations
We’re seeking an Associate for Private Banking Operations‑Collateral Middle Office to provide operational support by completing items that encompass a wide range of operational, credit and market risk management responsibilities within securities‑based lending collateral management.
The role operates within the Operations division, partnering with business units across the firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls, and develop client relationships. This analyst‑level position within Product Support & Services is responsible for transaction support and managing post‑execution processes.
What You’ll Do
Process transactions/tasks within coverage area
Respond to client requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
Follow escalation framework, taking responsibility for identifying, escalating and preventing issues
Raise issues, question others and offer solutions/ideas
Analyze large datasets to identify risk, exposure, and anomalies
Develop strategic solutions for new products and controls to support reporting, stress testing, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with Margin Managers, Credit Risk, Technology, and field teams
Interpret new FINRA directives and assess their impact on firm policies and procedures

1–2 years of relevant experience

Familiarity with financial markets and the current regulatory landscape
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
Adaptability to multiple functions, including line work, projects, and process improvement initiatives
Ability to drive process enhancements and efficiency improvements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Strong proficiency in Python
Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability
