The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks candidates for Assistant Professor positions on the Clinical Faculty track. The selected candidates will provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with rheumatic diseases, as well as participate in the education and clinical training of rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.

Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with rheumatic diseases.
Participate in the education and clinical training of rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
Contribute to scholarship, quality improvement, and health equity initiatives.
Qualifications
M.D. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
ABIM board-eligible or certified in Rheumatology by the appointment start date.
Strong commitment to medical education.
Interest in scholarship, quality improvement, and health equity.
Background or interest in funded research and scholarly activity.
Underrepresented-in-medicine candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
