to join our Palliative Oncology team at
Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute

Specifics of The Role
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and innovative physician driven to provide a multidisciplinary approach to palliative care in the cancer population.
Palliative care is an integral part of our cancer care delivery model with involvement at all stages of a patients cancer journey, when appropriate.
Commitment to proactive management of symptoms and improvement of quality of life.
Completion of a palliative care fellowship favored, but internal medicine or dual palliative oncology and medical oncology training would be considered.
Call frequency
is 1:3
Academic-style practice in a community setting
Health system utilizes

System

200,000 square foot state of the art facility, opened in 2018.
Serves the oncology needs for Parkview Health system with a catchment area population of over 1.3 million people.
Cancer Institute is organized around Tumor Site Teams, each with their own Tumor Board and an array of support services

All oncologic specialties are co-located under one roof.
The Cancer Institute has the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) of all service lines in Parkview Health.
