Automotive Mechanics – Mavis Tire
We are looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join our state‑of‑the‑art service centers in the Kenner, LA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of undercar and exterior repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
Complete state‑mandated inspections and perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and tire on‑/off‑loading.
Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
Use personal tools and equipment to complete undercar repairs.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and lift items weighing over 50 lbs as required by the job.

Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Extensive personal toolset for undercar repairs.
State inspection license(s) (preferred).
ASE Certifications: G1 (Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair), A4 (Suspension and Steering), A5 (Brakes) (preferred).
Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements, and lift or move items weighing over 50 lbs regularly.
