Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
NX Designer
to support the design and development of aerospace tooling and ground support equipment for civil and defense applications. This role is part of a growing engineering organization supporting complex, high‑quality products used by leading aerospace OEMs.
Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX or CATIA.
Support the design of aerospace tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment.
Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant.
Update and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and drawing packages.
Support design changes, revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in design reviews and support production troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Siemens NX or CATIA (required).
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, tooling, fixtures, or heavy mechanical equipment preferred.
Ability to produce clear, accurate drawings and models to engineering standards.
Familiarity with GD&T and engineering documentation best practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative, deadline‑driven environment.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
