Geoenvironmental Consultant - Bristol - £32,000
An independent environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support an increasing workload in Bristol. This Geoenvironmental Consultant role would suit someone with hands‑on experience in contaminated land and ground investigation who is able to commute to Bristol and is looking to develop their career within a stable consultancy setting.
You will have the opportunity to join a talented and experienced team of engineers and environmental specialists, working collaboratively on a wide range of development and infrastructure projects. The team takes a practical, supportive approach, offering exposure to varied sites and clear opportunities to build technical and project delivery skills as a Geoenvironmental Consultant.
Responsibilities As a Geoenvironmental Consultant, you will be involved in Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations, including supervision of ground investigations and logging soils and groundwater. You will interpret laboratory data, complete risk assessments, and produce clear technical reports. The role also includes regular liaison with clients, contractors, and regulators, with scope to take on additional responsibility over time.
Essential Criteria
Degree in geology, environmental science, or a related discipline
Experience working as aGeoenvironmental Consultant or within contaminated land
Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to commute to Bristol
