Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What You’ll Do
Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan, delegate tasks carefully, and follow up promptly.
Use different strategies for problem‑solving with patients, families, and staff, recognizing limitations and prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth, and contribute to peers’ development.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.
Know nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines; understand hospital procedures and rules.
Proficiency in medical terms, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, common meds, and side effects.
Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
Exceptional communication skills, allowing clear expression of thoughts verbally and in writing.
Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties.
Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email.
Qualifications
EDUCATION – Grad of an Accredited Program
MAJOR – Nursing
EXPERIENCE – 2 Years of Experience
Certification / License / Registration:
Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
