Salary $29.12 - $45.70 per hour
Position Type Staff – Full-Time
Shift 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (includes some weekends and holidays)
Required Education ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
Required Experience 4 years as an RN in neonatal and/or pediatric critical care settings.
Required License/Registration/Certification Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary Neonatal/pediatric transport is a complex, highly organized, dynamic process that requires highly skilled personnel with the ability to act independently away from the protected environment of KCH. Patient outcomes are optimized by stabilization and expedient disposition of patients to definitive care. This position also provides guidance, education and expertise to nursing staff in any pediatric area so better recognition and response to patient care issues, improved quality of care, and opportunity for development of critical‑thinking skills can be achieved. The outreach education provided by this position to referral facilities ensures a collegial relationship and enhances outcomes.

Supervisory Responsibilities No
Preferred Education / Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN preferred. Minimum three years experience as an RN in neonatal and/or pediatric critical‑care settings. Previous transport experience is preferred but not required.
