Job Purpose and Impact The Registered Nurse will perform occupational health care activities, providing health and wellness training, employee health services, and compliance. The role requires licensure in the state of employment or equivalent certification elsewhere.

Key Accountabilities

Using technical knowledge and training, assist in designing and executing employee health and wellness programs.

Conduct safety and ergonomic training and administer drug and alcohol programs.

Treat, evaluate and assess employee illness or injury and determine medical direction.

Develop, formulate and implement plans of care based on standard order and medical directives.

Help determine what employees can do under restrictive duty, when they can return to work, and when to refer them to an outside medical provider.

Support record keeping in accordance with relevant regulations.

Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Registered Nurse (or equivalent certification in other regions/geographies).

Willingly and able to work a second shift.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in occupational health.

BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification, or similar.

Position Information

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

This position has a schedule of 3:00 pm to 1:00 am; some flexibility needed.

Availability to work two Saturdays per month, typically on an alternating schedule.

Phone triage occasional every six weeks, on the weekends.

We have a shift differential of 1.5 per hourly rate or similar.
