Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health, Day/Evening
Full‑time, 32‑hour per week float position working a combination of day and evening shifts. Opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Our nursing teams feature a top‑of‑license approach utilizing a reliable cohort of RNs, LPNs, Behavioral Response Specialists, Unit Clerks and Behavioral Health Workers all dedicated to patient safety and quality care. New graduate RNs are welcome to apply.
Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that need psychiatric treatment for a variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74‑bed private residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full‑immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10‑18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Qualifications
Current Indiana RN License
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Current CPR or BLS certification
Must be 21 years of age or older
