Job Title: Physician Assistant (Weekend)

Est. Pay Range: $65.00/Hour – $70.00/Hour
These roles are strictly weekend-only.
Candidates must be available to work AT LEAST 4 out of every 6 weekends, covering both Saturday and Sunday.
There may be opportunities to pick up additional weekday shifts.
Holiday coverage is not required.
Training will take place during weekdays, but once completed, these positions will transition to dedicated weekend coverage.
Physician Assistants will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care to a panel of patients. The clinical care team will work with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for the entire panel of patients. This will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role will report to the practice manager. Provide Primary and Family evidence-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment. Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes. Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management. Completion of a: Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Masters Degree in conjunction with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role required. Dedicated Saturday and Sunday.
