Dental Hygienist - Suffolk, VA Heartland Dental is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist in Suffolk, VA. Our team is family-oriented and focused on improving our office and service. Virginia RDH license is required. Location : Suffolk Complete Dental Care, 6255 College Drive, Suffolk, VA 23455 Responsibilities
Provide quality dental hygiene care to patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Maintain and improve patient education and preventive care. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care. Utilize state-of-the-art technology and practice standards. Hours and Compensation
Hours: Tuesday 7:30-5:00, Wednesday 7:30-5:00, Thursday 7:30-5:00 Pay: $53-55/hr Benefits: Competitive pay, excellent benefits, and bonus opportunities Minimum Qualifications
Current Virginia dental hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience
2 years of clinical experience Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills Clinical needs as required by the office Physical and Other Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation Prolonged periods of sitting and standing Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN) About Heartland Dental
