About the role Stelic is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support building automation, EPMS, and low-voltage scopes on a large, multi-building data center program. This role supports a leading systems integrator and works closely with field teams, commissioning teams, and the General Contractor to develop, maintain, and analyze detailed, resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules. The Site Scheduler ensures accurate progress tracking, logic integrity, critical path visibility, and clear schedule-driven insight through installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update discipline-specific Primavera P6 schedules for BMS, EPMS, low-voltage installation, and commissioning activities.
Build and maintain detailed activity logic, sequencing, calendars, constraints, and coding structures aligned with field execution and commissioning workflows.
Apply and maintain labor and crew-based resource loading to support manpower forecasting, productivity trending, and forward-looking analysis.
Coordinate weekly schedule updates with automation engineers, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and GC representatives.
Validate percent complete, actuals, remaining durations, and forecasts through direct field engagement and site walks.
Integrate discipline-level schedules into the General Contractor’s master schedule and support interface coordination across overlapping buildings.
Monitor and maintain critical path and near-critical path activities related to power, controls, and system turnover.
Identify schedule risks, logic gaps, and sequencing conflicts and elevate impacts with recommended mitigation actions.
Prepare weekly schedule updates and written status narratives suitable for distribution to the systems integrator, owner, and GC.
Support lookahead planning, commissioning readiness reviews, and recovery planning discussions as required.
Requirements
5+ years of scheduling experience on complex construction or mission-critical projects.
Experience supporting data centers, building automation, controls, EPMS, or low‑voltage systems strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, including logic development and resource loading.
Strong understanding of installation and commissioning sequencing for power and automation systems.
Ability to work directly with field teams to validate progress and realistic durations.
Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to explain schedule impacts concisely.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
Full-time onsite support at a large data center project in Detroit, Michigan.
Daily collaboration with automation engineers, commissioning teams, field supervision, and project management.
Requires regular participation in coordination meetings and site walks.
