Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
Other requirements determined by client facility
Duties & Responsibilities Med‑Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage medical conditions treated with pharmaceuticals.
Complete assignments made by physicians
Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care
Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments
Administer medication
Maintain meticulous documentation for continuity of care
