1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary – The primary responsibility is to oversee the daily accounting operations for Art Expressions. Responsibilities include A/R, A/P, invoicing, payroll, and other HR related tasks. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to work with a collaborative office environment. Our office is located in Gurnee, IL. Primary Responsibilities Accounting Operations. Oversee daily cash management. Process and approve all payments (ACH & checks). Maintain daily A/P and A/R responsibilities. Review and approve quotes and invoicing. Oversee all accounting reconciliation. Budget Support HR Operations. Manage onboarding responsibilities. Oversee HR matters utilizing PayChex Flock. Ensure ongoing HR Compliance. Complete annual Workers Comp Audit. Develop, prepare, and analyze various management reports. Forecasting and annual budget review. Quarterly/annual budget analysis. Oversee accounting technicians’ daily tasks. Primary Skills Strong attention to detail – complete work with little to no errors while meeting all deadlines. Problem solving – Ability to understand complex problem and develop a solution. Communication – strong written and verbal skills and ability to interact with outside clients. Analytical – ability to analyze information and make timely decisions. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. Strong computer skills and proficient in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel. Preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting roles including supervisory experience.
