Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
We’re hiring in the Macon, GA area for the Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology position. Nurses with experience in interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, or sedation are strongly encouraged to apply.
Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, mid shift. Job types available: full time, part time, per diem.

Qualifications
Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
Preferred 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high‑acuity clinical setting
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media use
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities
Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, promptly addressing any allergic reactions or complications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
Educate patients and families on pre‑ and post‑procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
