ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is looking for a Travel Bedside Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg/Ortho/Trauma assignment in Kansas City, MO. Pay is $1,971 per week for 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

RN Position Job Notes Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.

Opportunity RN - Med Surg
Job Details
Work 3 12‑hour shifts with guaranteed 48 hours per week
Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
Care for post‑operative knee, hip and shoulder replacement patients
Manage trauma patients and some neuro overflow cases
Work with traction, fixators, and cooling equipment
Use Meditech documentation system
Support available from unit secretary and PCTs
Perform bedside shift reports and hourly rounding for patient experience
Contract labor is first to float to other MedSurg level units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma)
Required certifications: RN license, BLS
Advanced skills needed: Orthopedic experience, telemetry, NIH stroke scale
Dress code: Navy scrubs required
Work on 23‑bed orthopedic/trauma unit
