Job Details
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
First time travelers accepted
On call every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, and state license
Skills required: Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Nephogram, Peripherals, Drainages, Upper and Lower Extremity, Abd and Pelvic, Vascular Studies, Venous Access, Neurological Studies
Work with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and other scrubs
Handle Level 1 trauma, PE, and stroke cases
Perform vascular and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, thrombectomy procedures, stent placements, and central line insertions
Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Call-in policy requires makeup shifts during pay period or added to end of contract
Facility This major healthcare system features a comprehensive interventional radiology department with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology. The facility maintains Level 1 designations for trauma, pulmonary embolism, and stroke care, providing critical interventional services to the community. The department operates multiple IR suites equipped with modern Siemens imaging systems and supports both vascular and neurological interventional procedures with a focus on high-quality patient care and advanced medical interventions.
