Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108‑bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents, and adults. Inpatient Clinician .
The
Inpatient Clinician
provides psychiatric case‑management and therapeutic services to assigned patients with diverse needs to ensure coordination of care between the hospital, community, treatment, therapeutic services, education, and discharge planning.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Complete a thorough psychosocial assessment and collaborate with the patient to develop individualized treatment goals.
Initiate discharge planning and arrange after‑care appointments/referrals.
Oversee the treatment planning process with person‑centered planning, coordinating all disciplines in treatment interventions and updating treatment plans every seven (7) days or as needed.
Conduct group therapy and other groups as assigned.
Facilitate individual and/or family sessions as needed.
Document each interaction with patient consistently with hospital standards.
Attend all appropriate team meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements
Must hold one of the following licensures in the state of Michigan: LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, TLLP.
Previous group therapy experience preferred but not required.
