Yard/Warehouse Rep I – US LBM
Overview Brand Vaughan, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, serves professional builders and contractors across multiple locations in Georgia. Join our team as a Yard/Warehouse Rep I: an entry-level position responsible for operating forklifts, stocking, shipping, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift safely using foot and hand controls.
Participate in a positive work environment.
Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining an organized work environment.
Empty trash receptacles and keep all bays and staging areas clean and organized.
Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
Provide excellent customer service.
Count and record receipt of materials.
Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.
Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
Comply with company policies and guidelines.
Use forklift to build outgoing orders or load completed orders onto delivery equipment.
Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g., bander, power tools, various hand tools).
Monitor inventory as required by location management.
Maintain awareness of work environment critical to task for error‑free results.
Participate in and complete assigned training.
Required for All Jobs
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies and standards.
Adhere to the company’s commitment to workplace safety.
Education High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience No experience required.
Skills and Abilities
Basic math, reading orders, writing instructions, and completing forms.
Willingness to learn to read a tape measure.
Effective and professional communication with customers, employees, and supervisors (verbal & written).
Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g., smartphone, inventory control systems).
