Responsibilities

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.

Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment to encourage customers to return.

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, and monitor quality assurance standards.

Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.

Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.

Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.

Observe scheduled shift operating hours and adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes.

Model excellent customer service, demonstrating friendliness, and maintaining a clean and orderly department.

Demonstrate creative merchandising and keep displays fully stocked and conditioned according to department standards.

Be aware of arrival dates of products.

Maintain workload to guarantee that production deadlines are met.

Complete all paperwork according to company policy.

Ensure global merchandising, customer service, cash control, labor control, expense, supply controls, loss prevention, maintenance, safety, associate and customer engagement rules are followed.

Promote sales through intercom announcements.

Reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and notifying management of unsafe conditions.

Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying appropriate managers of repairs.

Notify management of customer or employee accidents, and report all safety risks or illegal activities.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.

Must be able to meet the minimum physical demands of the position.

Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Second language speaking, reading, and/or writing.
