The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for supervising concession game staff and greeting guests in a pleasant manner while filling food and beverage orders. The Concessions Stand Lead will ensure all procedures are followed and be responsible for inventory in stand or portable, maintaining accurate records. The role follows all State and Local food handling, alcohol, and safety guidelines.
Candidates must be willing to work event-based hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as the ballpark's schedule requires. This position will be located on-site at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, FL.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain stand sheets, transfers, spoilage records, and take beginning and ending inventory of all products.
Supervise production to ensure highest quality food and avoid excess or loss.
Prepare simple foods and beverages using company recipes and portion standards.
Maintain high quality standards and portion consistency.
Accept payment from guests and make changes as necessary.
Keep work area clean using sanitation standards.
Memorize the product menu at each concession location.
Assist in clean up and breakdown of the concession area at the end of event.
Demonstrate ability to meet company attendance standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality or similar field.
Prior knowledge of large-scale venue staffing operations.
Ability to perform a reach, lift, stoop, bend, and extensive standing/walking (including stairs).
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously for multiple parties.
Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills.
Willingness to work non-standard hours.
Ability to lift packages/boxes up to 50 lbs.
