Summer Camp Teacher for STEM / Technology Camps
Join Black Rocket Productions for an exciting summer teaching opportunity. This role involves leading technology-focused camps for children aged 6-14. Responsibilities
Teach and mentor students in coding, robotics, 3D modeling, game creation, video editing, and digital arts. Work with groups of up to 12 students solo or 25 with an assistant. Manage and safely transfer equipment between sites. Implement curriculum using Minecraft, Roblox, and other STEM tools. Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. General Requirements
Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions with reliable transportation. Preferred experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong technology skills such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation, robotics, video editing, or digital arts. Available for online training in May and a minimum of 4 weeks Monday‑Friday during summer. Authorized to work in the United States. Love working with kids. Lead Instructor Requirements
21 years of age or older. College graduate with a degree related to education, digital arts, computer science, or working experience in the field; college seniors with student teaching experience are encouraged. Experience teaching or working with children in any setting is preferred. Ability to lead a class solo and support a larger group with an assistant. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Details
Salary: $20/hr – $26/hr depending on experience, location, and availability. Position length: 4‑10 weeks starting in June. Paid training provided. Potential opportunities to move into supervisory roles. Employee discounts for select camps. Benefits
