St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is an Episcopal day school located six miles from Washington, D.C., in Alexandria, VA. We are seeking an Assistant Varsity Boys Tennis Coach for the 2026 spring season. The role will be part of a competitive athletic program that competes in the IAC and has the opportunity to qualify for the VISAA state tennis championship. Responsibilities
Plan and lead daily tennis practices for varsity boys teams. Coordinate schedules and travel for competitions, including VISAA events. Provide individual and group instruction to develop technical and tactical skills. Collaborate with head coach and coaching staff to implement team philosophy and training programs. Promote leadership, sportsmanship, and character development among student-athletes. Qualifications
Collegiate and/or high school playing experience at a varsity level. Coaching experience at the high school level, club, or as a tennis pro instructor. Impeccable character with passion for working with young players. Hard working, organized, and collaborative nature. Passion for developing coaching potential on student-athletes. Seniority Level
