Responsibilities
Provide recommendations for the development of Knowledge Management (KM) systems by designing and implementing SharePoint process improvement solutions.
Assist in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems to shape workflow and processes.
Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, including search, discovery, storage, retrieval, and formal production and taskings.
Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals (Knowledge Manager: SIA3 4.4.2.13).
Produce for Government review and approval a KM SOP IAW Army FM 6‑01.1 to guide KM efforts and assist in implementing the KM structure, practices, and governance model.
Provide position papers containing analysis assessing the effectiveness of current organizational SOPs and processes discussed during the KM Working Group (KMWG).
Facilitate the KMWG using a variety of techniques and tools to enable collaboration; push out information to individuals or the entire working group and pull information needed by members.
Publish minutes to the SharePoint KM portal site and in email to designated Government personnel from the KMWG and provide recommendations for the follow‑on KMWG.
Provide surveys, interviews, and results from each to enable methods of sharing knowledge both within and outside the organization, as well as vertically and laterally.
Participate in meetings to ensure requirements and design concepts are accomplished through the creation of governance and maintenance plans, custom workflows and site themes, SharePoint content management with Microsoft Office applications, and the transfer of content from shared drives and other repositories to SharePoint.
Implement the KM practice by leveraging SharePoint as enabling technology, where applicable.
Provide formats and recommendations for managing and using SharePoint from any prioritized KMWG recommendations to facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Provide status updates to the client, including actual versus planned task progress, schedule status, surveys/interviews conducted, meetings attended, issues, and recommendations. Identify planned versus actual tasks completed within the previous week.
Provide CI Operations Trends and Strategic Communications support, reviewing operations files, exchanging analyses, conducting operational data queries, collating and organizing data of operational activity to include dossiers on over 1,500 operations, and articulating operational leads, gaps, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Required Qualifications/skills
Minimum education and years of experience requirements:
High School Diploma: 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
Associate’s Degree: 10 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
Bachelor’s Degree: 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
Master’s Degree or higher: 6 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
Must have Security Plus certification and have completed a Site Collection Administration training course equivalent to Microsoft MS55033.
