Responsibilities
Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
Lead a team that provides the highest level of service and the greatest experience for customers.
Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and related products, providing guidance without prescribing.
Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
Unload and sort through store deliveries.
Execute all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and validate that other team members are also aware of and following these procedures.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Minimum 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
Strong communication skills, able to give and receive direction while maintaining a team environment.
Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
Willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Physical ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs., walk up to 3 miles in an 8‑hour shift, and other related duties.
Other related duties as assigned.
Pay Range The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $29.15 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
