Job Responsibilities:
Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to address identified patient needs and goals.
Administer medications accurately and appropriately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as necessary.
Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Provide patient and family education about the care plan, medications, procedures, and other relevant information to ensure understanding and compliance.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Current RN licensure
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certified EKG Technician (CET) [preferred]
Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) [preferred]
Critical Care Medicine Certification (CCMC) [preferred]
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM) [preferred]
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) [preferred]
Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) [preferred]
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [preferred]
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [preferred]
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program [preferred]
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) [preferred]
Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) certification [preferred]
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
PEARS - Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization certification [preferred]
