Position Overview Boeing South Carolina, the home of the 787 Dreamliner, designs, builds, and delivers a revolutionary family of aircraft. The ideal candidate has a strong familiarity with detailed wire components, interface control documents, and specific wire type and gauge requirements for individual commodity circuits.

Position Responsibilities

Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

Develop basic work statements for new designs.

Participate in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection and analyze functional and physical recommendations to assure complete integrated design.

Generate and maintain wire diagrams for released designs.

Work under general direction of lead engineer and mentor to enhance technical learning and career growth.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautics, Engineering Technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Experience in an engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with aircraft design requirements.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Work Authorization This position is 100% onsite at Boeing North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees can enroll in various benefit programs such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off.

Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

$81,600 - $110,400

Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
