Position Responsibilities

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.

Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain program architecture for builds.

Lead and implement manufacturing plans.

Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and document best practices.

Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.

Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.

Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

Implement lean principles and technologies.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

9+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 4).

Experience in composite aerospace manufacturing and related tooling, inspection and testing methodologies with emphasis on large‑scale prototyping.

Experience with Model‑Based Engineering tools.

Experience creating manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions.

Experience in aerospace new product development and prototyping.

Experience with NX/Unigraphics CAD and Teamcenter PDM systems for design interrogation, manufacturing planning development and tooling design review.

Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles in a production system.

Experience planning and developing product quality using APQP and PFMEA.

Experience leading and collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Ability to collaborate with both the engineering workforce and mechanics on the factory floor.

Engineering design or manufacturing engineering experience.

Location and Working Conditions

Hazelwood, MO – 100% onsite. The position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required. Program access may also be required.

Compensation

Level 3 (Experienced): $98,600 – $133,400 Level 4 (Senior): $120,700 – $163,300
