We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse - Labor and Delivery to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This role involves providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities
Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, assess progress, and manage labor progress.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, and assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
Educate patients and families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Skills needed include strong clinical assessment, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
