Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Duties & Responsibilities Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
Apply knowledge of general as well as specific health issues related to a range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care.
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
