Travel We're looking for a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Price, UT. The right CRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for additional requirements. As a CRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. As a CRT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks: Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Certified Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Respiratory Therapists should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Respiratory Therapists must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have 1 year of experience. Must have NBRC-CRT, BLS, and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
