Overview Under the direct supervision of the Credentialing Supervisor, this position assists the lead of our credentialing department in all aspects of credentialing, re‑credentialing, and privileging processes for all medical providers who provide patient care at Kintegra Health. The role supports providers who are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with health plans, hospitals, and patient care facilities, maintaining up‑to‑date data for each provider to ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications.

Candidate Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods; read and understand English; maintain confidentiality of records and communicate with all personnel levels; work independently with minimal supervision; establish effective relationships with providers, management staff, and external contacts; manage multiple priorities and credentialing assignments; exhibit excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills; interact respectfully with individuals of all cultures and authority levels; function as part of a team; meticulous attention to detail.

Experience:

Understanding of the credentialing process; minimum of three (3) years in a healthcare setting or related education.

Additional Skills Required:

Research and analyze data; proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet; excellent verbal and written communication skills (letters, memos, emails).

Additional Skills Preferred:

MS Access.

Education:

Combination of experience and/or education/certification; minimum one year experience in Credentialing or an associate’s related degree.

Certification(s)/Licensure:

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is not required but a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Compile and maintain current and accurate data for all providers.

Complete provider credentialing and re‑credentialing applications; monitor applications and follow up as needed.

Maintain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage, and other required credentialing documents for all providers.

Maintain corporate provider contract files.

Set up and maintain provider information in online credentialing databases and systems.

Track expired licenses and certifications for all providers and practices to ensure timely renewals.

Process applications for appointment and reappointment of privileges.

Track license, DEA, and professional liability expirations for appointed providers and practices.

Maintain providers’ credentialing status with commercial insurances, Medicaid and Medicare; perform maintenance of practices’ credentialing status as assigned by supervisor.

Complete credentialing and send to Board of Directors for approval in a timely manner for all providers, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff as assigned by supervisor; continuously monitor and maintain the FTCA credentialing spreadsheet for yearly HRSA grant applications.

Manage and administer CME (Continuing Medical Education) funds for medical, behavioral health, chiropractic, and dental providers.

Provide special project support as assigned by supervisor.
