HonorHealth is actively seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist with fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonary.
Position Overview The role involves advanced bronchoscopy procedures, multidisciplinary collaboration, inpatient consults, advancements in lung cancer screening, outpatient clinic services, quality improvement initiatives, clinical trials, teaching, and program development.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures including EBUS‑TBNA, navigational bronchoscopy, ION robotic bronchoscopy, and cryobiopsy for diagnosis and staging of lung cancer and other pulmonary diseases.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, radiology, pathology, and pulmonary medicine to optimize patient care pathways.
Support inpatient consult services for complex pulmonary cases requiring interventional evaluation or urgent procedural management.
Expand advanced lung cancer screening, incidental nodule programs, and rapid‑access diagnostic pathways.
Provide outpatient clinic services for longitudinal management of airway disorders, pleural conditions, and post‑procedure follow‑up.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives focused on outcomes, safety, efficiency, and patient experience within the interventional pulmonary service line.
Participate in clinical trials, device innovation, thoracic oncology research, and teaching of residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
Assist in the growth and strategic development of the Interventional Pulmonary Program, including community outreach and education for referring physicians.
