Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - $2,273 per week
Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for Detroit, MI. The position offers 12‑hour shifts (36 hours per week) for 13 weeks beginning 09/15/2025, with a weekly pay rate of $2,273 per week (subject to confirmation).
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians.
Manage complex pulmonary cases and coordinate care.
Teach and mentor colleagues in best practices.
Perform diagnostic testing, treadmill assessments, complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), ABG machine maintenance, hemodynamic monitoring, and specialized procedures such as ENGs.
Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
State license as a Respiratory Therapist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) with Pediatric Specialty RT and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Minimum 2 years acute‑care experience, with a preference for pediatric settings.
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree from a CoARC‑accredited program.
Expert proficiency level required with ability to handle complex cases.
