SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated health‑care professionals.
Applicant must have an unrestricted RN license. A sign‑on bonus is available. 7:00 AM/7:00 PM or 7:00 PM/7:00 AM shifts.
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.
This position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.
Responsibilities
Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
Provide safe and accurate medication‑related interventions to residents.
Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
Perform nursing assessments regarding residents’ health status; notify physician of changes and promptly implement new orders.
Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.
Contribute to residents’ assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and development of a care plan.
Qualifications
Unrestricted RN license.
Patience, compassion, and a desire to care for residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.
Ability to plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing care, services, and health education.
