About the Role Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, a Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care through coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s or patient’s care plan. The LPN manages the environment to ensure safety, supervises nursing assistants, and follows all Center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Salary Earn up to $43.75 per hour.
Qualifications
Licensed in the state as an LPN
Current CPR certification
Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (e.g., feeding pumps, oxygen, medication cart)
Proficiency in calculating drug dosage
Meet all health requirements imposed by law
Positive, effective communication with residents, families, and staff
Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic computer knowledge
