Primary Therapist (Substance Use Treatment)

Responsibilities
Primary Therapist is responsible for providing excellent comprehensive clinical care.
Conducts individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with written treatment plan based upon assessed needs.
Coordinates all services for patient care and assists in crisis intervention.
Effectively communicates relevant clinical information to the patient, family, group, and Ambrosia staff.
Completes all documentation according to company and regulatory requirements.
On call responsibility on a rotating schedule with all clinicians.
Requirements
Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related human services field.
1 to 2 years of experience in an outpatient, day treatment, residential and/or hospital setting.
An excellent understanding of mental health diagnoses.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
