About the Position We are seeking motivated, talented
Systems Engineer Technician
to join our Systems Engineering team in
Saint Charles, MO
as part of the Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization, Precision Engagement Systems (PES). The programs include Direct Attack weapons such as JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and related derivatives. This role assists in developing, gathering, and documenting basic technical data for weapons products and applying systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
Position Responsibilities
Enable System Engineering focus on technical value, integration, problem solving, and best practices.
Manage tools and processes by conducting risk assessments in BORIS/MET and granting access control.
Identify areas throughout the program for LEAN improvements.
Facilitate key meetings for customers, suppliers, and executive leadership (Production PRAB, CMS RIO Board, SETR Events, etc.).
Coordinate with other disciplines within Weapons Direct Attack programs to provide status through engineering, supplier management, and contracts.
Use systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Teamcenter, TIPQA, QDS, QDIS, WIS, etc.
Basic Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in defense weapons technology.
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Experience in various engineering disciplines.
Experience using various System Engineering tools.
Other Requirements
This position is 100% onsite in Saint Charles, MO.
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
Shift: 1st shift.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Salary Summary pay range: Entry Level 1 – $42,500 – $57,500; Associate Level 2 – $53,550 – $72,450; Experienced Level 3 – $64,600 – $87,400.
