Role Overview We’re looking for a highly creative Creator + Videographer to concept, capture, and produce best‑in‑class content across organic social, paid media, email, and campaign channels. This role blends strategy and execution: you’ll shape the narrative of our brand while also being the hands‑on creator behind the camera.

You should understand the dynamics of short‑form content, performance marketing, and elevated lifestyle aesthetics — and know how to translate Apothia’s intentional, California‑rooted design language into compelling visual stories that convert.

This is a role for someone who lives on social, thinks in storyboards, moves fast, and has taste.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the monthly content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Meta ads, website, and email.

Interpret brand strategy, product stories, fragrances, and cultural moments into high‑impact content ideas.

Build content calendars with clear objectives: awareness, storytelling, community, and conversions.

Analyze performance data to evolve creative approaches and improve content efficacy.

Identify and track social trends that align with Apothia’s aesthetic and strategic direction.

Partner closely with CEO to ensure cohesive brand voice and visual world.

Videography + Production

Concept, shoot, and edit short‑form video for organic and paid channels — from fast UGC‑style content to cinematic lifestyle storytelling.

Film founder‑led content, product stories, unboxings, scent descriptions, behind‑the‑scenes, and campaign assets.

Capture b‑roll, lifestyle footage around LA, product close‑ups, and sensory‑driven visuals that ladder up to brand ethos.

Edit videos for multiple formats, optimizing for platform‑specific best practices.

Drive the creative execution for launches, collaborations, and hero campaigns.

Photography + Asset Creation

Capture still product photography and lifestyle photography for social, web, and email.

Create thumbnails, social graphics, text overlays, and simple motion assets where needed.

Maintain a high standard of visual consistency that reflects Apothia’s design‑forward, elevated style.

Content Operations

Manage shoots (scheduling, scouting, talent coordination, props, lighting).

Build and maintain an internal library of content assets.

Collaborate with creators, UGC partners, and agencies when necessary.

Support paid media creative testing by producing variations, hooks, and iterations based on performance.

Qualifications Must Haves

3+ years of experience in videography, content creation, or creative marketing (beauty/lifestyle preferred).

Expertise in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar editing tools.

Ability to create content independently — from concept to final export.

Deep understanding of TikTok + IG content formats, pacing, and storytelling.

A portfolio showcasing elevated lifestyle visuals, short‑form content, and brand storytelling.

Strategic mindset with the ability to connect creative execution to performance and brand goals.

Strong taste and aesthetic sensibility aligned with Apothia’s world: elevated, sensory, modern California lifestyle.

Nice To Haves

Experience producing paid media creative variations.

Basic graphic design ability (Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, Figma).

Experience working in fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, or fashion.

Ability to direct on‑camera talent (founder, models, creators).

Understanding of fragrance marketing and how to translate scent into visual storytelling.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience and portfolio.

We offer a competitive compensation package reflective of the hybrid nature of this role — blending strategic content development with hands‑on videography and production.

Bonus:

Eligible for an annual performance‑based bonus aligned with content output, social growth, and creative impact across organic and paid channels.
