Responsibilities The Culinary Service Cook is accountable for preparing, serving, and in coordination with the Culinary Services Director and the interdisciplinary team, preparing foods for residents, guests, and employees. The cook increases residents’ acceptance and compliance especially among those with therapeutic diet orders, promotes food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls, and delivers meal service that meets residents’ desires by providing as much choice as possible while preserving personal dignity.
Qualifications
Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
Qualification for employment after criminal background study per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
