Hillcrest Hospital’s 3 West Tower Complex Medical Care unit is known for its outstanding communication skills and top‑quality patient care. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing general, breast, gynecology, pancreatic/liver, and urology surgeries. As an RN in this unit, you will help ensure patients receive the care they need quickly while working with a cohesive, encouraging team to enhance the patient experience and develop your nursing skills.

Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well‑Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting, and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. Responsibility Profile
Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience: after orientation/90‑day probationary period, could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval Military RN experience will be considered Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination Standing and walking for extended periods of time Corrected vision and hearing to normal range Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids Medium Work – exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work Personal Protective Equipment
Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $41.00 Maximum hourly: $41.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
