Scheduler Abstractor Responsibilities

General clerical and communication duties

Patient scheduling

Procedure coding in Envision

Patient charging

Daily reconciliation

Post procedure record abstracting

Data entry

Monthly statistical reporting

Price quotes

Insurance verification and authorization

Journaling

Physician and patient liaison

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School or Equivalent (required)

Associate degree (preferred)

Scheduling & Administrative Experience (preferred)
