Base pay range $48.00/hr - $55.00/hr An aerospace company in Renton, WA is seeking three Manufacturing Engineers to join their team! The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for development and improvement of composite part fabrication processes, methods, and tooling. A successful candidate in this role will assist in design of tools and shop floor manufacturing support, to include industrialization of process. Additionally, you will assist/own the development and introduction of new products, as well as providing leadership to team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering 5–7+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer Strong knowledge of GD&T Experience in Work Instruction Creation Proven ability to implement continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen Skilled in reviewing drawings, models, specs, and related data to determine manufacturing methods Ability to establish efficient operation sequences for composite product fabrication and assembly Knowledge of composite processes and specifications for thermoset and/or thermoplastic parts Experience developing qualification plans for processes and equipment per customer specs Ability to design or define requirements for equipment, robotics, lay-up molds, vacuum fixtures, shop aids, positioning fixtures, and inspection tools Capable of performing safety analysis, FMEA, process capability studies, and TPM for equipment Understanding of industrial engineering practices: time studies, statistical analysis, ergonomics, and value engineering principles Employment Type: Contract Seniority Level: Not Applicable #J-18808-Ljbffr
