Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty (RN)
Hourly Pay: $30 to $35 Saturday Premium: $50 per hour
Requirements to apply
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active, unencumbered Indiana RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN clinical experience (full-time or equivalent)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to provide official transcripts from accredited institutions
Job Overview
This part-time Clinical Nursing Faculty role supports nursing students in clinical and lab settings, providing direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation aligned with nursing education standards. Faculty guide students through real-world clinical experiences, reinforce evidence-based practice, and foster professional nursing values. No prior formal teaching experience is required; training and ongoing support are provided. Ideal for RNs passionate about education, mentorship, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and supervise nursing students at clinical sites and in lab environments
- Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on clinical learning experiences
- Orient students to clinical sites, policies, and procedures
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment
- Participate in faculty meetings and curriculum-related activities
