We are seeking an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to own and grow a full 360 recruitment desk, delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions across a defined market. This role is suited to a high-performing consultant who is commercially driven, relationship-focused, and capable of operating with autonomy while contributing to the wider growth of the business. As a Principal Consultant, you will act as a trusted recruitment partner to clients, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and consistently deliver high-quality placements across permanent and/or contract hiring models. Key Responsibilities 360 Recruitment Delivery Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle: business development, client management, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and referrals. Deliver permanent and/or contract placements in line with agreed targets and KPIs. Business Development & Client Management Develop new client relationships through targeted business development and market engagement. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insight, hiring strategy, and talent intelligence. Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities for repeat and expanded business. Negotiate terms, fees, and contracts in line with company guidelines. Take full ownership of a defined market or vertical, building long-term credibility and presence. Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and candidate movement. Ensure accurate CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting. Leadership & Contribution Act as a role model within the recruitment team, demonstrating best practice and high standards. Support and mentor junior consultants where required. Contribute to process improvement, market strategy, and overall business growth initiatives Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant, ideally at Senior or Principal level. Strong track record of consistent billings in permanent and/or contract recruitment. Experience managing client relationships at hiring manager, director, or executive level. Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with a wider team. Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
