Amazon Connect Engineer
Primary Responsibilities and Skills
Design, implement and support cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated cloud resource provisioning.
- Build, deploy and optimize applications and integrations using Python (or Java) within the AWS ecosystem.
- Engineer and manage Amazon Connect environments including configuration of IAM, Lex, Lambda, KMS, S3 and Kinesis.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / Jules and manage code repositories with Git / Bitbucket.
- Rapidly prototype proof‑of‑concept solutions and scale them to production‑ready systems.
- Implement and support RESTful APIs for contact center integrations and automation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient voice solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure engineering, automation and data fluency.
- Support container orchestration and deployment in AWS Cloud environments.
- Apply best practices for data security, compliance and call recording in telephony platforms.
- Stay current with AWS certifications and emerging cloud technologies.
