This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. The Amazon Connect Go To Market (GTM) team transforms support into success, integrating AI and human agents to create proactive, personalized experiences across all customer interactions. Amazon Connect is a rapidly growing CCaaS platform, and we are seeking a seasoned CCaaS business development specialist to develop scalable GTM strategies for the Connect AI suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the GTM strategy for Amazon Connect's AI‑driven omnichannel solution.
- Own strategic initiatives that contribute to our global go‑to‑market plan and measure their impact.
- Develop scalable sales plays with sellers, partner teams, and services to drive growth targets.
- Iterate on internal and partner‑led routes to market.
- Collaborate with the service team to influence roadmap priorities and bring new AI features to market.
- Partner with product managers and sales to scale successful sales campaigns for new and existing services.
- Develop assets and content to enable the global sales organization to execute playbooks.
- Work closely with sellers, solutions architects, and partners to identify blockers to growth for the Connect omnichannel solution.
- Maintain a reporting cadence to the cross‑functional team, escalating issues and communicating changes to iterate on strategy.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Application Technologies, including Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS).
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
