Join to apply for the Warehouse Lead role at Utz Brands, Inc. in Fullerton, CA. The position is available for a Direct Store Delivery (“DSD”) Warehouse Lead to support the sales management team and ensure efficient operations at our DSD Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assign daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse Utilities, ensuring accurate and timely work.
• Assist with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Order inventory; receive, store, load, and ensure all products and materials are accounted for and kept in excellent condition.
• Unload trailers arriving at the warehouse and verify trailer loads for accuracy.
• Check products that Independent Operators and Distributors pick and load, signing load tickets to verify correct inventory.
• Use a handheld computer to balance daily inventory (warehouse inventory, daily orders, extra orders, return to stock, trailer loads).
• Accept and check return to stock products and stale and damaged products.
• Maintain organization in the DSD warehouse, including product rotation; keep the warehouse and restroom(s) clean.
• Cover open routes as directed by management, delivering product to customers and bins, and merchandizing authorized products in serviced accounts.
• Lead and assist with month‑end inventory counts.

Pay range: $25‑$27.30 per hour.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC in the food industry.
• Prior experience using an Enterprise Resource System such as D365 is highly preferred.
• Experience leading and directing others is preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory, records, and product rotation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; basic math proficiency.
• Independent decision‑making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity.
• Minimum 19 years old with a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Capability to fill in and cover open routes as needed; ability to safely operate a route sales delivery step van or box truck.
• Ability to drive a forklift and/or use a hand jack, if required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
