Starting Pay: $17 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, Friday-Saturday, 7am to 3:30pm

Position Summary Description:

Unloads containers of incoming freight and palletizes items for placement into warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Unloads containers of incoming freight and palletizes items for placement into warehouse.
• 2. Uses manual pallet jack to move pallets to receiving dock.
• 3. Builds pallets according to company standards.
• 4. Sorts products and groups like items together, by product number or description of cases.
• 5. Removes packing materials and cleans out empty containers.
• 6. Ensures all products are free from damage and/or pest infestation.
• 7. Follows established safety standards for proper food handling.
• 8. Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse.
• 9. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• 10. Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Qualifications:

Six months to one year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
